When interviewing, it is important to ask thoughtful and relevant questions to gain a better understanding of the role, the company and its culture, as well as the expectations for the position. Here are some potential questions a candidate should ask during an interview:

  • Can you tell me more about the team I'll be working with such as the bosses and other drivers? This question can help you understand the dynamics of the team and the company culture. You’ll also usually be able to tell here if there are any issues within the team based on the interviewer’s response.

  • Why are you currently hiring more truck drivers and what are the biggest challenges facing the team or department? These questions can help you understand the current challenges the team is facing and how the role you are interviewing for can contribute to solving them.
